We are looking for a skilled, passionate and enthusiastic Head Teacher for our After School Program and Summer Camp! You will be in charge of creating a strong classroom and camp culture, founded on respect and safety, managing your assistant teachers and team of drivers, and developing a great rapport with the parents.
The best match for this role is someone who balances tenacity and detail thinking with a warm spirit and natural connection with kids. Must also have a commitment to helping children become compassionate, empowered young people who can help make this world a better place.
Our Head Teacher will meet regularly with the School Director, learn the policies and procedures, and be able to turn around and bring them to life. Through the summer, you will help us improve the classroom and get it certified as a 5 Star Facility. We would also like this position to be our outdoor Head Summer Camp Counselor during our 4 weeks of summer camp.
So basically, this role is a balance of getting things done on the admin side, handling the important details, and leading the kids through fun, interactive lessons and games!

Requirements:
-Able to pass drug screen and criminal background check
-Good driving record
-Up to Date CPR/First Aid Certification
-Experience in management or leading other adults
-Experience leading groups of ELEMENTARY AGE children (Grades K-5)
-Bachelor's Degree Preferred
-Competence with computers and ability to use Google Docs
Pay and Hours
-This position is open immediately.
-Competitive Pay.
-Planning and program development hours are flexible. 1:30 - 6:15 pm M-F required.
