Description Robert Half has an open Network Administrator position in Asheville, NC. To be successful in this role, you should have a can-do attitude and be an organized problem solver who is passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure. You will support the business by developing, administering and maintaining the network infrastructure, making sure that the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. The software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems you will work with change frequently. Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network problems
Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures
Administering the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services according to company policies and procedures
Coordinating and executing upgrades to network software and hardware
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience in IT Networking
Preferred certifications: Network+, CCENT, CCNA, etc
Proven knowledge of DHCP DNS
Good understanding of Network Switches and Routers
Well-founded grasp of Cisco Networking
Comprehensive knowledge of Network Administration
General familiarity with VMware
Expertise in Network Configuration and maintenance
Practical knowledge of ticketing systems
Experience with TCP/IP
Strong familiarity with Network Monitoring Tools
Quality experience with backup and disaster recovery tools
Experience with network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
Skilled in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
