MACHINE OPERATOR - Start ASAP$19.43/hr, 1st and 2nd shift, Asheville, NCJob Description:
Reads and interprets drawings along with visual inspection of sheet metal products
Flexing/Cross Training is a must to be effective as a team
Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions
Assist in selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment
Perform a wide variety of troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance
Running Press Brake equipment, CNC punch press, Fiber Optic laser’s, Haeger Pem Machines
Follow audit and safety guidelines
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-6 months of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience
Experience in precision mechanical operation and low volume, complex manufacturing processes preferred
Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement a plus
Ability to read tape measure/ Calipers or other measuring devices. (or ability to learn)
Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively
