Assisting in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
Previous experience with NCDOT Project Delivery
Serve as a Project Manager and Design Task Leader
Capital improvement planning including providing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions
Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic control, signing and pavement marking plans, profiles and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design.
Assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
Reviewing construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents
Serving as on-site project representative.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
EIT, FE, or PE (not required, but preferred)
Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation and OpenRoads)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Driver’s License
