The Baker will prepare biscuits and sweet treats in accordance to RISE standards and recipes to meet the projected sales volume of the day. With the work schedule beginning at 5:00AM weekdays and 6:00AM weekends, the Head Baker must be punctual, highly reliable with a strong work ethic. The Baker strives to maintain a consistently high level of product quality, an exceptionally clean work environment, and an optimum output with minimum waste. Previous baking experience preferred but not necessary.
The responsibilities of the Baker are as follows:
Must be punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
Prepare, stock, and set up station
Ensure fresh biscuits and sweet treats are prepared in accordance with RISE standards and recipes to meet customer demand throughout the day
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized station and walk-in
Assist other positions as needed
Prep all ingredients for the following work day
At close of business, break down and clean entire station and oven
The skills of the Head Baker are as follows:
ServSafe certification (preferred)
Must be able to use all kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively
Must have effective communication and time management skills
Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must be a team player and follow instructions
Must be able to work early hours during the week, weekends, and holiday
Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
