About this role:The primary focus for a Lead Host is directing activities around the host station to create a welcoming environment with transparency and organization around the guest wait time and process - setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience for every guest that comes through the door. This includes, managing the wait list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations, coordinating the flow of seating along with the rest of the host team on shift, and keeping the retail experience in our lobby space stocked and beautiful. Our host team also supports the rest of the front of house staff as needs arise, contributing to a smooth flow service. Weekly pay includes a $20/hour rate plus a generous tip-share program.

Responsibilities:

Be warm, friendly, and accommodating - providing exceptional service and hospitality for all guests

Accurately estimate wait times, seeking managerial guidance as needed

Take ownership of creating a welcoming environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and FOH area

Support FOH team members by providing water to customers, answering questions, and pre-bussing tables

Act as a liaison between customers and management

Train new hosts to be successful in their roles

Always go the extra distance for the comfort and happiness of our customers

Requirements:

Prior experience directly interfacing with customers in a restaurant environment is required

Operate in a highly organized and collaborative manner

Provide customers with MIND BLASTING hospitality

Be a reliable and supportive team player

Follow all company policies and procedures, e.g., dress code, punctuality, and professional attitude
