The Golden Pineapple, a West Asheville neighborhood bar who is Living Wage Certified, is looking for a full time bartender/server hybrid role(4 days a week 30hrs). This is a full time job with 2-3 days off and we do not schedule over 40 hours. Nights and weekends are required. We pay $15 an hour plus tip-out based on hours. weekly average of pay has never been below $28/hr. We offer paid time sick time off, staff meal & shift drink, and discounts when not working.
We are looking for someone who has a foundation in classic cocktails, standard steps of service, a positive attitude, willingness to help one another when needed, and a calm composure when busy. We have a full cocktail, wine, beer and food menu with the expectation to have knowledge in all that we offer. We encourage open dialogue and contributions to our menus. Duties include craft cocktail bartending, engaging hospitality, helping with dishes, running food, opening and closing duties, and just be chill to work with. We're a small staff and the right fit is important to us. No drop ins.
