Kitchen Manager and Chef
A retreat center near Asheville, NC is currently looking for a person to work as a Kitchen Manager and Chef who is capable of handling the following tasks:
Kitchen Manager
o Coordinate and schedule food preparation staff for all programs
o Develop and coordinate menus and organize food purchasing
o Maintain inventory
Chef
o Prepare vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free cuisine
o Some experience with juicing would be helpful
o Feel comfortable cooking alone for groups of 8-25 people
This is a part-time position for someone with flexible hours. Kitchen managing may extend throughout the week with cooking shifts mostly on the weekends. This is a great place to work, peaceful working environment, beautiful location, and wonderful community.
Reliable transportation is required (25 mins from downtown Asheville).
