Oskar Blues in Brevard is looking for a full-time or part time line cook to join our kitchen!
Oskar Blues Chubwagon serves pub style food out of our on-site food truck to thirsty patrons 7 days a week. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual who is willing to learn and to grow with our team. No early mornings, no late nights.

Kitchen/service experience strongly preferred.

Average pay is $18.00 - $21.00 with gratuity included.
Essential Responsibilities
- Preparing menu items to serve to customers, of consistent and excellent quality.
- Exceptional customer service.
- Prepping and clean-up of food items each shift.
- Keeping the food truck organized, clean, and sanitary at all times.
- Ensure safety is a top priority with continuous focus on safety in all tasks, with the team, and with the public.
- Represent Oskar Blues Brewery and culture in a positive light when dealing with customers.
- Accurate handling of cash and payments.
- Protects consumer health by managing all safe food handling practices.
- Demonstrates teamwork while working respectfully with all team members.
- Communicate clearly while demonstrating willingness to help all team members.
- Provide harassment free workplace of all staff members.
- Protect consumer health with strict adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling mandates and practices.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

- Knowledge of food safety.

Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls. Must have solid situational awareness in dealing with the public.
