Our small team of dedicated in-home companion-caregivers is seeking new colleagues for regular and on-call shifts with a dynamic 45-year-old woman living with a traumatic brain injury. Companion-care shifts run from 8:45 am–9 pm and 8:45 pm–9 am with limited opportunities for split shifts.
Companion-caregivers work in a private home in Hot Springs, North Carolina for a family that operates an official LLC. All compensation is processed and taxed in a W-2. Starting compensation is $19/hour. Up to two weeks paid time off accrues per year and an annual healthcare bonus is paid out in January.
Care tasks include:
● meal preparation according to specific dietary needs;
● household chore support;
● support and assistance with daily living activities;
● occasional transportation to medical appointments and other events;
● memory games and aids; and
● general companionship that supports both safety and independence.

Ideal companion-caregivers can:
● comfortably support an 140 lb. woman in safely moving through the day, minimizing falls and accidents
● wear an KN-95 mask indoors as needed to minimize disease transmission
● pass a federal background check
● have regular and reliable transportation to and from all shifts
