Companion needed for my adult brother with Autism. He is physically fit and likes to spend time outdoors and at the Y. He cannot drive or cook for himself, but has a daily routine that he adheres to that helps him maintain as many independence skills he can manage.
The available hours are 3:30pm to 8:30PM. Some of the staff like to do an overnight shift following this shift, which is 8:30PM to 8:30AM. He is typically asleep by 9:30 or 10 (at the latest) so you can sleep, do homework, watch TVovernight rate is a bit less per hour because he is asleep most of the time.
You do need to be kind, patient, and punctual, and have reliable transportation.
This is a great job for someone active with a chill personality. The evening shifts are very "homey" and chill.
Ideally, you could do 3 shifts per week. If you enjoy it, you can do more.
Thank you!
Dee
