Valle Bufala, is looking for help as we work to build an organic regenerative farm with a focus on providing a high quality happy and healthy environment for our animals and land.
The farm is right off of Brevard Rd. between Laurel Park & Horse Shoe (Hendersonville) NC.
Routine daily tasks can involve moving animals to their pastures. Providing fresh water, hay, and food. Cleaning stalls and animal areas with waste moved to be composted and used to fertilize the pastures. Bottle feeding and snuggling goat kids due to be born this spring. Projects can include animal area deep cleanings, silvopasture / wooded area clean up, tractor driving, fence work, bush/tree hedge planting used for animal fodder.
Multiple morning half day shifts that begin 8am are currently available each day. Offer flexibility on days your available to work scheduled weekly. Need to be able to lift 50lb feed bags and hay bales. Routine task shifts paid a fixed rate that work out to be $13.50 to $18.50 an hour depending on your efficiency. Project work is paid $15 per hour.
