Shift: 7am-5pm Monday -Friday
Pay: $18hr
Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials, including windows, doors, and wood supplies.
Spend 60% of the time loading and unloading materials and 40% operating large forklifts.
Meet and greet community members and customers to assist with material pickup.
Build loads, load trucks (both company and customer vehicles), and maintain an efficient, clean, and safe lumberyard.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting with material selection and loading.
Accurately pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery to ensure schedules are met.
Maintain inventory by conducting cycle counts, keeping the yard organized, and ensuring correct material shipment and receipt.
Properly use and maintain all equipment.
Commit to continued learning on products, packages, and procedures.
Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
Follow all applicable sales and inventory management rules and procedures.
Accurately distribute and place building materials as indicated on order tickets.
Ensure pulled products are neatly placed and orderly.
Clean up and properly dispose of all debris.
Take initiative to complete tasks without being asked.
