Landscaping Team Member Needed
Chase Property Maintenance is seeking a dedicated and hard-working Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This position has the opportunity for advancement and pays $17-24 per hour, depending on experience and work performance.
As a landscape professional, you will be performing various tasks which range from mowing, trimming, hedging, pruning, edging and debris clean up (landscape maintenance). We also conduct more hardscape related work such as mulching, landscape design, sod, planting/installing vegetation, yard remodels/renovations. We also service multiple HOA's and condominiums. We offer all types of service contracts and provide a well-rounded list of services.
Responsibilities
· Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, hedging and trimming using the provided equipment.
· Assist other, more detailed work such as planting/installation of vegetation, landscape design, mulching/fabric laying, downed tree clearing, sod installation, and more.
· Dig holes for planting trees and shrubs as well as prepare property for yard remodel/overhaul.
· Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
· Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools after each job including the proper maintenance and care of all used tools/equipment throughout the day.
· Be personable, respectful and mindful when dealing with the Clients of Chase Property Maintenance, while keeping in mind that they entrusted CPM to take care of their property.
· Be punctual.
Requirements
· Previous experience in landscape maintenance is required.
· The knowledge to operate various landscaping tools and equipment safely effectively.
· Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
· The ability to maintain a steady work pace throughout the day.
· Some gardening/plant/horticulture or landscape designs/drainage knowledge is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
· Ability to follow verbal directions.
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for 2 years.
· Uphold the professional standards established at Chase Property Maintenance.
This is not a W2 position at start. Anyone who starts work must sign a Release of Liability Waiver, which essentially states that in the event one gets hurt, they do not sue Chase Property Maintenance. Anyone who starts work also must sign a W9, which is a collecting of tax information. This is how payment from Chase Property Maintenance to employees is recognized.
