They will work closely with the Landscape Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.Cut grass, trim edges, clean up, blow trimmings, fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawn care duties as directed by foremanDig, lift, operate small machines, load tools and equipment on and off trailers and trucksSpray and dust areas to control insects and or weedsOperate power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn tractors, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, and chain sawsMove and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areasWork strategically to perform tasks safely, efficiently and effectivelyWork with urgency and purposeCommunicate with customers in a professional, polite and courteous manner. Answering any questions and addressing any concerns from clientsRequirementsTeachable attitude and a great teammateMinimum 2-3 years of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred.Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible mannerEffective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs and input information electronicallyTime management skillsAbility to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a teamAbility to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasksValid driver's license is required for employment. Also, applicant must be able to be added to the company insurance policy.Able to work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and coldWear appropriate personal protective equipment at all timesCompensation:You can expect: 40– 50 hours per week in season.
