This person will oversee the daily operations of 6 landscape construction crews, ensuring that high-end residential projects are completed on time, on budget, and to our company’s exacting standards.We’re looking for a proactive leader with strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for team development. The ideal candidate is someone who balances productivity and professionalism with empathy and positivity.Key Responsibilities Lead and support six field construction crews daily; manage staffing, scheduling, and productivity. Review project goals with Project Managers and translate them into field execution plans. Manage scheduling of labor, equipment, and materials across all construction projects. Participate in pre-construction planning meetings and serve as a bridge between design/sales and field teams. Regularly visit job sites to ensure progress, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Monitor and manage job costs using Aspire software; track labor hours, materials usage, and profitability. Troubleshoot and problem-solve in real-time, providing support and leadership in the field. Maintain a strong culture of accountability, positivity, and GFL’s core values on every crew. Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 2 years managing crews or projects. Deep understanding of hardscapes, water features, pools, grading, drainage, and irrigation. Strong organizational and leadership skills; able to handle multiple jobs and deadlines. Excellent communication and people management abilities. Experience with project scheduling and job costing software (Aspire experience a plus).
