GALLERY PR is a boutique public relations agency representing global leaders and change-makers in the wellness, lifestyle, and entertainment industries. Our work bridges culture and commerce, helping brands tell meaningful stories that move audiences and shape conversation.
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Public Relations Intern to join our satellite office in Asheville. This is an excellent, in-person opportunity for a communications student eager to gain real-world PR experience and learn directly from senior publicists working on high-profile brands and cultural campaigns. Due to the nature of the role, remote workers will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Support the team in coordinating media outreach
- Help organize press assets, visuals, and client materials
- Assist with media research, press monitoring, and coverage tracking
- Draft press materials including pitches, media lists, and event recaps
- Participate in brainstorms, team meetings, and client calls
Requirements:
- Relevant experience or a degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or Journalism
- Strong writing, list-building, organizational, and communication skills
- Passion for details, storytelling, culture, and media trends
- Familiarity with platforms like GDRIVE, Google Sheets, Word, Excel, Cision, and Muck Rack, is a plus
Schedule: Part-time, flexible schedule (approx. 10–15 hours per week)
Compensation: Paid internship, $18/hr (rate commensurate with experience)
