Clothes Mentor, a leading retailer of pre-owned women's fashion and accessories, is looking for a driven, dynamic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building relationships with customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Promote a high level of customer service ensuring customers are assisted in an enthusiastic, timely, and knowledgeable manner.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
-Develop proficiency in operating computerized sales tracking system for all sales transactions, buys, returns, etc
-Achieve personal and store sales goals by applying sound customer service and sales protocol.
-Daily store maintenance/housekeeping duties.
-Ticket items appropriately.
-Restock store following merchandising plan.
- Greet and engage customers as they enter the store, identify their needs and provide recommendations.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and fashion styles to provide personalized advice and guidance to customers
- Process sales transactions and operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy
- Contribute to achieving store sales targets through excellent customer service and building positive relationships with customers
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and product knowledge
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling, inventory management and loss prevention practices
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of retail/resale or consignment sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with fashion trends and a passion for women's fashion and accessories
- Comfortable working with a point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Must be able to show up for work on time, be dependable, work flexible hours & WEEKENDS.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
-Able to bend, lift, reach and move up to 20lbs bins and clothing.
-Be fast on your feet.
-Stand for up to 6 hours
