Qualified candidates will possess skills in areas of clinical skincare and professional full body waxing services including Brazilian waxing. Experience in retail sales a plus. Compensation offered as hourly pay (plus 100% of gratuities/tips) based upon experience in the spa and salon industry. Includes benefit package with full time employment status. Responsibilities include:
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amount of product to assist with cost control.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift in a professional manner.
- Perform consultation and post treatment product recommendations for each guest.
- Practice within the safety guidelines and health codes of OSHA, and the state of North Carolina.
Job Requirements include:
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train and promote our specific facial treatments and products.
- Responsible for efficient, effective and high quality service provisions while adhering to waxing guidelines and standards. Will follow all policies and procedures to accomplish these standards. Includes: body and facial waxing, and lash/brow tinting services.
- Responsible for maintaining continuing education in order to maintain an active state Cosmetology and/or Esthetician license.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Prefer at least one year of experience in a Spa or Salon.
- Must possess an active North Carolina Cosmetology or Esthetician License.
