Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Refrigeration Field Technician will assist in the installation, maintenance, and
repair of refrigeration systems for commercial clients. This role offers a great opportunity for
hands-on training and growth within the refrigeration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration
systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration units and systems.
- Assist in the installation of new refrigeration units and components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
about their refrigeration systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on the latest industry practices and technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of refrigeration systems and components is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
- Must own or be able to purchase/maintain own set of tools.
