Asheville T-Shirt Company is hiring!
We are looking to add an experienced embroidery individual to our line-up of amazing staff. This is a part time or full time, year-round position in our new Arden location. You will be working with another team member. Hours are flexible. Must be a garment savvy, detail oriented, smart, energetic, hard-working individual to join our crew of T-shirt professionals. The position requires self-discipline, focus, and the ability to multi- task throughout the day.
The role will ultimately cover, but is not limited to:
-Embroidery, hooping, thread changes and running the machine
-Track and prepare supplies for upcoming orders
-Time and track all tasks
-Read and understand work orders
-Continue to research sewing and embroidery to improve our quality, efficiencies, skill and overall knowledge
-Identify incoming boxes for order to be printed
-Receive, open, count, sort, stack, check-in all incoming garments
-Package finished printed garments in preparation for pick-up
REQUIREMENTS:
-Embroidery operator experience required
-Reliable form of transportation
-Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms
-Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors
-Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos in
EQUIPMENT:
-Single head Avance
-Basic sewing machine
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work a full-time schedule during normal business hours: 9-5, M-F
- Able to pass a background check.
