Off Duty Fireman Construction Inc is an Asheville-based general contractor, servicing clients across 6 divisions. We are currently seeking a skilled remodeling/lead carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate must be motivated, driven, honest, reliable and who will bring professionalism, excellent communication skills and building experience to the company.
Job Description/Requirements
Carpenter with a minimum of 12 years of experience in a remodeling environment.
Must be detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, dedicated, well presented and hardworking.
You must have the ability to excel in multi-tasking. Tasks include but are not limited to: rough carpentry, framing, finish carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, electrical, etc.
You must have the ability to take initiative and at times, work on your own or run a small crew. You must be knowledgeable in reading blueprints, codes, working with subs, scheduling, managing and above all, the ability to communicate.
You will be required to have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from my warehouse.
Transportation to and from the jobs is provided by the company, along with, all the necessary tools. You will only be required to provide your personal tools such as your nail bag, hand tools, etc.
This is a W-2 position and subcontractors or 1099 workers are not needed at this time.
