Holiday Inn Express - Boone is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to work with our Maintenance Manager to help keep our hotel operations running smoothly and ensure our guests have a great stay. The ideal candidate will have experience in minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, wallpaper, drywall, etc. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires previous general repair experience
Must be flexible in hours and days worked, will require every other weekend.
Must have basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repair skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and bend, stoop, twist, push and pull as needed.
Requires the ability to work on your own while staying on task and completing required work loads.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Must be able to pass a background check. Random drug screening.
