FaithBridge UMC, a dynamic, growing church in Blowing Rock, N.C., is seeking a 12-15-hour per week, Christ-centered Director of Youth Ministries. This position plans, coordinates, and executes all aspects of the Youth Ministry (7th 12th grade). Qualified candidates shall have the ability to maintain existing programs, vision to grow new programs, and will possess the administrative skills necessary to perform his or her duties and carry out details. Candidates should also have the interpersonal and relational skills necessary for working with youth, volunteers, and parents.
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelors degree in a related field.
Experience: Candidate must have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage, and implement a youth ministry.
Knowledge: Ideal candidate will have an understanding of the United Methodist denomination (including theology) or willingness to learn.
Pay will be negotiable upon education and experience.
