We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill a temporary position as a Cleaning Helper and Contents Removal Worker for a short-term, two-day project taking place on March 27 and 28, 2025, in Barrie, Ontario. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income while assisting with an important one-time job that involves both physical labor and attention to detail. The work primarily involves clearing out the contents of a residential home, including the removal of furniture, household items, and various miscellaneous belongings. In addition to lifting and moving items, the selected candidate will also assist with detailed cleaning tasks to ensure the property is left in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently once tasks are assigned. We are looking for someone who is safety-conscious—safety boots are mandatory for this role—as the job will require lifting heavy items, navigating through cluttered spaces, and handling materials that may require care and proper lifting techniques. Candidates must be physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. A clean background check is also required, as this position involves entry into a private home and handling of personal property. The work schedule runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day. The pay rate is $21 per hour, and this position is for the two specified days only. Please note that this is a temporary gig and there is no guarantee of further employment afterward, although we always appreciate strong workers and may reach out for future projects if applicable.
