Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Cary, North Carolina. The role involves a range of accounting functions, with a focus on managing accounts receivable and ensuring the accurate processing of customer payments.Responsibilities: Manage the application of payments to customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Assist in the resolution of deductions or disputes related to customer invoices. Support team members with end-of-month activities and other accounting tasks as needed. Utilize SAP for uploading bank files and other essential tasks. Conduct detailed research and reconciliation of deposits to bank statements. Play an integral role in the collections process, following up on outstanding payments. Prepare and manage journal entries as part of the overall accounting function. Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and data management. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer credit information. Assist with the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical industry Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Billing Functions and Cash Activity Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Excel Ability to create and maintain Journal Entries Proven Financial Analysis skills Experience with Reconciliations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
