This role will be pivotal in leading our new Elevate AI initiative, which is aimed at revolutionizing how AI, particularly Generative AI (GenAI), is integrated into various functional areas of our organization including HR, Finance, Legal, and Business Development. The AI Ambassador will play a critical role in brainstorming, defining, and supporting the implementation of GenAI to enhance job efficiency and time savings across the organization.This position can be performed remotely, however candidates based in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area are preferred to allow for hybrid work opportunities.Job Responsibilities:
Spearhead the Elevate AI initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for GenAI usage.
Act as a subject matter expert in GenAI, guiding various departments in understanding and leveraging AI technologies to optimize their workflows and tasks.
Provide hands-on guidance on usage and best practices related to GenAI prompt engineering and tool utilization to automate knowledge-based tasks.
Utilize exceptional program management skills to oversee Elevate AI and other GenAI projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Maintain clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to encourage AI adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Conduct training sessions for staff at all levels on the usage and benefits of GenAI.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of the Elevate AI initiative, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Identify, document, and communicate new AI solution opportunities to the Analytics & AI team.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and GenAI technologies, and proactively seek opportunities to apply new solutions within the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI, or a related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
2+ years of experience working in a cross-functional capacity to oversee the deployment of GenAI to streamline business operations and workflows.
Proven experience in AI, specifically in GenAI technologies.
Solid prompt engineering skills to optimize GenAI interactions and improve the generated output.
Excellent program management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex initiatives.
Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically, with a problem-solving mindset.
Capacity to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both individually and as a team member to achieve the department's objectives.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Experience in a position that required the integration of AI and GenAI into business processes essential.
Trainer-level expertise with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, DALL-E and Azure OpenAI Studio essential.
Healthcare industry or government health and human service program experience a plus
