Eurofins CEI, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Cary, NC. The Analyst will do mold and asbestos testing using phase contrast microscopes (PCM) and be cross trained on polarized light microscopes (PLM).The Analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples according to scientific methodology in compliance with company Quality Assurance programs and SOP’s. The analyst also validates and reviews data for accuracy, and uploads laboratory data into the LIMS that ultimately generates required reports to clients.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Regular attendance and punctualityOrganize and record samplesData entry into LIMSPrepare fungi and PCM samples for analysisAnalysis of non-culturable surface and air samples for fungiAnalysis of air samples using PCM for asbestos and other fibersMaintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeepingPhone and email correspondence with clientsAssist with customer services when neededData entry of QC activities in departmentsConduct all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerform other duties as assigned
