In this global role you will report directly to the VP Accounting and have high visibility within both the Brightly and Siemens’ organizations.As a key leader of the finance team, the ideal candidate has excellent leadership skills, a high level of affinity for operational improvements, strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment. This role requires consistent interaction with external partners as well as collaboration across departments to initiate and manage relationships.You’ll make an impact by:

Coaching, and mentoring the managers of our global Order Operations and Cash Collections teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from the order invoice to cash collection.

In collaboration with the team, other Brightly departments and advisors, strengthen and continuously strive for process efficiency and quality through automation, continuous operational improvements and/or new tools selection and implementation.

Using your in-depth understanding of transaction workflows from order to cash with a balanced view between standardization and the customer requirements to adapt if needed.

Reporting the performance of the departments based on a set of critical metrics to senior management and ad-hoc presentations analyzing financial trends.

Adhering to the Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS), for order processing, revenue recognition and necessary trade receivable allowances for Brightly accounting departments.

Assisting in the assessment and implementation of system changes as required due to global or local changes in regulations or process improvements.

Ensuring internal controls are effective and that respective testing is done and documented to comply with external regulations.

Fully cooperating with internal and external auditors to guarantee the quality of books & records.

Supporting the migration and/or integration of the Brightly financial IT systems to the Siemens financial IT landscape in close collaboration with other workstreams.

Enabling exemplary integration of future acquisitions and establishing innovative processes for growth in additional regions.

Developing members of the global team and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture with highest integrity and sense of ownership.

Your success is grounded in:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or suitable majors

Minimum 8 years’ experience in Finance and/or Business Excellence.

Minimum of 3 years in leadership roles within finance functions

Solid understanding of US-GAAP or IFRS for this area of responsibilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong presentation and Microsoft excel skills as well as experience with billing / collection systems.

Must be able to excel in a fast-paced, goal oriented and driven environment.

Positive, can-do attitude and passion for details and collaboration

Prior experience working as part of a global team.

The pay range for this position is$117,000 TMR low - $200,700 TMR high. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
