This Senior Product Designer role is part of a highly effective global team of designers and researchers that strive for focus, growth, and impact in a collaborative product organization. As a design lead, you will be working closely with Product and Engineering to prioritize design projects for specific product area, crafting the best solutions that meet the needs of our clients and of the business. The Senior Product Designer is a key member of the Product Design team that is responsible for the consistent user experience across our product portfolio.
Bring the voice of the user, and shape the UX and design for crucial, high-growth product areas such as Enterprise Asset Management, Sustainability and Community Management.
Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate the design with product and engineering teams.
Initiate usability tests with users to validate high risk designs before the feature is implemented and adjust the designs based on feedback. You may partner with a UX researcher, and you can do user tests independently.
Understand the markets we serve and has deep understanding of the users in the markets. Define user personas and Jobs-to-be-done specific user roles in the target markets.
Conduct user research, partnering with UX research, to understand the user problem behind the product feature and provide solutions that exceed their expectations.
Collaborate with product managers to understand the requirements and the business value. Provide designs that meet the business goals.
Collaborate with developers to build delightful experiences that are feasible. Understands the technology behind the products enough to have meaningful conversations with developers about feasibility.
Creates reusable, scalable visual and interactive design patterns that can translate easily across multiple products in our portfolio. Leverage and contribute to our design system throughout your design work.
Understand the company goals and provides designs that meet the company’s business goals and timelines.
Work in a fast paced, agile environment supporting multiple products.
Mentor and coach other product designers. We teach ourselves and we learn from each other.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
Possess more than 5 years of experience designing complex enterprise products in SaaS platform, marketplace, or other software-led fields in an agile B2B environment. Asset Management product design experience is a plus.
Proven experience as an collaborative and impactful product designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and measurable outcomes.
Versatile experience designing websites, responsive mobile webs, and mobile apps.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch. Able to select right tools based on design situations.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, processes, and methodologies.
Experience working with product development, engineering teams, and business stakeholders, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Rich experience leading and facilitating interactive design sessions with product and engineering.
Leadership qualities and the ability to guide and inspire the design team.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

You are highly collaborative: You actively listen to the feedback from colleagues in Product Design, Product Managers, Client Services and other management roles. You initiate collaborative design sessions with product and engineering to ensure the design meets the business requirements and is technically feasible.
Work well with software engineers: You share your designs and the “Why” behind the designs with engineers. You partner with the engineering lead to understand the technical feasibility of the solutions before the final design is created. You lead interactive design sessions with your Engineering counterparts in order to ensure that short- and long-term design goals are achieved. You provide the long-term design vision for the feature and help break it down into incremental changes that can be worked on independently.
