Job Title: Audit & Compliance Coordinator

Location: Cary, NC

Contract: 12+ Months

As Audit & Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating internal and external audit efforts related to information security (ie. SOC, PCI, FISMA, ISO etc.). You will facilitate the assessment of and compliance with new and existing information security regulatory and legal requirements, including the collection of artifacts and sample evidence. This resource will be responsible for maintaining and updating information security policies and standards, as well as working with technical teams to draft new policies and procedures when required. You will also drive remediation activities across the Managed Security and Managed Network Services infrastructures, tracking and escalating the remediation of vulnerabilities and ensuring teams are meeting defined SLAs. You will also be responsible for collecting application data from subject matter experts to maintain and update the corporate information security dashboard as required by the information security office. This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

Position responsibilities also include maintaining compliance reporting metrics and assisting with executive level presentations regarding organizational compliance, support of compliance related projects and implementations, and other security, governance, risk and audit duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Youll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience

Even better if you have:
  • Experience working within information security, compliance, audit, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of security & risk frameworks, standards and best practices (i.e. PCI, ISO, SOC, FISMA).
  • Strong communication, documentation, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office applications.
  • Excellent abilities in managing compliance projects across multiple teams and organizations.
