Looking for qualified part-time (20 hours per week) Bookkeeper for our growing cocktail / event space venue. Must have quick books experience. Hospitality / Restaurant experience a significant plus. Position can be a combination of remote with one day a week at business location in downtown Mooresville.
You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll (third party ) and bank account management, p&l entries and reconciliation tasks.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Payroll entries for third party provider. (Netchex)
Monitor financial transactions and reports.
Process accounts receivable and payable.
Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Understand ledgers.
Balance sheet and income statement knowledge.
Interface with our outside CPA where necessary.
Bookkeeper Requirements:
Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
Experience in the hospitality / restaurant / liquor business a plus.
Ability to remain organized
Good communication skills
Motivated, self-starter
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
