Job Overview:
South End Commercial Plumbing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale commercial plumbing projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, and a keen ability to coordinate teams, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of commercial plumbing projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to review blueprints, project specifications, and scope of work.
Ensure all plumbing systems meet local and national building codes, as well as the client’s specifications.
Manage project timelines and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and equipment.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols on the job site.
Provide leadership and guidance to the plumbing team
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
Prepare and submit project progress reports to clients and management.
Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Track project budgets, manage costs, and ensure profitability.
Handle project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance records.
Job sites will be within a 60 mile radius of Charlotte, NC
Qualifications:
At least 2 years in a project management role.
Strong knowledge of building codes, and construction processes.
Proven track record of managing large commercial projects from start to finish.
Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly address and resolve challenges that arise during a project.
PMP certification (preferred but not required).
