Apartment Leasing Consultants Needed

We have a full-time Apartment Property Manager available for an amazing apartment community here in Gastonia , NC. Some weekends required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet prospective tenants and provide them with information about available units
- Conduct tours of the property and highlight key features and amenities
- Assist applicants with the leasing process, including completing applications and collecting necessary documents
- Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are signed
- Collect rent payments and handle any tenant inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities using property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi)
- Adhere to Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Leasing Agent or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes and procedures
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) is a plus
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
