We are now hiring a dispatcher for towing company that operates in the University and Hickory Grove areas of Charlotte, NC. Job duties include taking calls from CMPD and Highway Patrol as well as others and dispatch driver to accident scene or place of tow asap. Enter information in to the computer and release vehicle to proper owner. Must be available to work any shift if needed as we are 24 hours. These are 12 hour shifts. This position will be Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm and Monday and Tuesday nights 6pm-6am. Anything over 40 hours is overtime. Training on day shift. Know how to use mapquest and give directions and use of computer including email and mapquest. Experience with towbooks is a plus. Knowledge of the Charlotte area is a plus.
