Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry in their Charlotte, NC location. This is a 12 month + contract position.
Description:
This is a Platform development position in the client's Conversational Commerce organization in Charlotte, NC
The Team builds next-generation AI and Search platforms to enable virtual financial assistant and search capabilities across multiple channels
Work with Line of business/SMEs to gather model tuning requirements and help in tuning the machine learning model
Resolve conflicts on the data and analyze model performance and accuracy
Able to understand the natural language techniques and apply them to tune the model better
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java/J2EE technologies
Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations
Good analytical skills to break down requirements and solve complex problems
Experience in server-side frameworks like Spring MVC
Experience building restful web services
Hands-on experience with Python
Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
Desired Skills:
Experience in performance tuning with a good understanding of JVM internals
Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra
Experience with open-source search engines like SOLR, Elasticsearch
Experience working with NLP and Machine learning
Able to tune machine learning/deep learning models
Experience working in agile teams
Experience in using Python for performing Data Analytics
