Administrative Assistant

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Machinery Manufacturing industry, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be a key part of our team, managing administrative tasks, processing customer applications, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues. Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all customer information is accurate and up-to-date. Maintain regular email correspondence with customers and team members. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to complete tasks and projects. Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed. Assist with other administrative tasks as required. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to answer inbound calls and handle inbound and outbound calls professionally Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints Data entry skills for entering customer information into company databases Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently Skill to schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple team members Experience in a machinery manufacturing environment would be advantageous Ability to perform administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment and independently when required Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a busy environment High level of discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.
