Description Job Title: Associate Director of Data ManagementLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: On-site Tuesday and Thursday)Employment Type: Contract-to-HireSalary Range: $130,000 - $145,000 annually (equivalent hourly rate during the contract period)Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Data Management to lead the design and implementation of data mastering and survivorship processes. This role requires a strong understanding of how data is mastered, the processes behind data survivorship, and how these concepts are combined to ensure high-quality data management. You will be driving requirements and solutions using Semarchy and other relevant platforms.Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of mastering and data survivorship processes to ensure accurate, high-quality data.

Oversee the design and integration of systems to combine, clean, and manage large datasets across the enterprise.

Utilize Semarchy to drive requirements gathering and implement data mastering solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data management needs and translate them into actionable requirements.

Build and manage the data mastering processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness across various data sources.

Ensure the survivorship of data by building strategies to manage and resolve duplicate or conflicting data points.

Provide oversight for how data is sourced, stored, and transformed across systems to maintain data integrity.

Work with teams to design workflows and methodologies that enhance data governance, mastering, and survivorship frameworks.

Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing data pipelines and integrations for seamless data flow.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience in Master Data Management (MDM), with a deep understanding of mastering and survivorship concepts.

Knowledge of MDM platforms like Semarchy is a nice to have.

Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets.

Experience with Databricks or other data processing/engineering platforms is also desirable.

Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with cloud data platforms and ETL processes.

Experience managing teams and leading complex data management projects.
