The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.Wells Fargo Compliance is the company’s compliance independent risk management function, providing company-wide leadership, standards, support, and independent oversight to ensure that all business groups abide by applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory guidance (regulatory requirements); meeting compliance responsibilities, and managing compliance risks. Wells Fargo Compliance credibly challenges management decisions and business processes & activities and evaluates and assesses adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. Join our diverse and inclusive team where you’ll feel valued and inspired to contribute your unique skills and experience.The Enterprise Functions Compliance team is responsible for performing independent compliance risk management activities that drive certain Enterprise Functions regulatory compliance risk management activities. The team partners with corporate risk oversight functions and lines of business, as well as compliance program teams to ensure appropriate compliance program integration of certain laws, rules, regulations, and applicable regulatory guidance that define risk management activities outside of regulatory compliance.The Enterprise Functions Other Risk Programs Compliance Officer will enhance the annual certification and monitoring of compliance activities across regulatory sources that are aligned to risk policies and programs owned by dedicated Risk leaders outside Compliance and do not require Compliance oversight of major requirements. This role will help ensure that the certification program confirms risk management activities appropriately identify, assess, control, mitigate, test, monitor, measure and report regulatory requirements are executed by the other dedicated Risk groups outside Compliance. The role will ensure that ongoing monitoring is in place to support the annual certification to the Chief Compliance Officer to attest that the risk policy or program is executing the Wells Fargo Risk Management Framework for all applicable regulatory requirements. The role will drive consistent processes and make sure any deficiencies and related remediation efforts identified are documented for consideration in the Annual Compliance Plan process, and all potential violations or compliance issues are escalated timely.The Enterprise Functions Other Risk Programs Compliance Officer is accountable for:

Coordinating with Enterprise Functions Compliance teams to ensure appropriate execution of all phases of the risk management lifecycle for all applicable regulatory requirements, for Enterprise Finance, Technology and Data, Information Risk Management, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Counterparty, Capital Adequacy, Payments Risk, Model Risk, Third Party and Strategic Risk.

Act as the point of contact for the Other Risk Coverage Compliance program

This will include:

Monitors Other Risk Program standards across major businesses with multiple, complex regulatory environments.

Participates in the implementation of highly complex initiatives with Business or Enterprise Functions wide impacts

Monitors the reporting, escalation and timely remediation of issues or deficiencies regarding compliance risk management, and reporting on the state of the Compliance Program to senior compliance leaders

Compliance challenge compliance-related business management decisions, business and operating processes, and business activities

7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
