What You'll DoAs an Infrastructure Engineer on our Network Security Infrastructure team, provide strategic planning and execution of high visibility initiatives across the global landscape.and collaborate with internal clients, peers and leadership to influence the modernization of the network security infrastructure. Additionally, as business continues to change at a quicker pace the candidate will help PFG create a world class network automation and reporting environment while finding innovative ways for team members to work throughout the world.What you'll do:

Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders as well as communicate business objectives to the technical team and get buy-in.

Demonstrate independence working in more than one system. Take initiative to fix issues before being assigned.

Demonstrate knowledge of industry trends and how the entire software and infrastructure system operates.

Independently conduct analysis and development, requirements, coding, automated testing, debugging, designing, documentation, quality assurance review, implementation and maintenance.

Identify and proactively tackle technical debt before it grows into debt that requires significant up-front work to resolve.

Participate in technical design of features. Focus on attaining expertise in more technical areas.

Who You AreWe are looking for someone with:

Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalent experience.

2+ years’ work experience with troubleshooting and implementing next gen firewall technologies and Secure Web Gateways is required.

Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment by seeking out educational opportunities and leveraging peers’ experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Experience with network technologies including switching, routing, and basic network troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of scripting (Terraform, ansible, etc)

Basic knowledge of Public Clouds

Experience with Zscaler

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$63800 - $147600 / yearAdditional InformationWork EnvironmentsThis role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC).
