Description:

• Enterprise Finance Technology's End-to-End Forecasting Technology team is working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions to improve forecasting processes and support operational excellence. This role will be responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target process, partnering with multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to a strategic platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

The End-to-End Forecasting Technology team within Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, working with the CFO group to improve forecasting processes through technology, delivering a set of capabilities that will drive greater consistency, automation, transparency, efficiency and control.
  
• We are looking for a talented and highly motivated software engineer with distributed computing technology experience and knowledge in JavaScript, to help further develop our forecasting & analytics platform. The right candidate will help deliver new functionality to the CFO group to help improve the financial forecasting processes.:

Required Skills

• Experience in Java application development end to end.
  
• Core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
  
• Experience in using frameworks like spring, spring boot, mybatis etc
  
• Experience in using HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  
• Experience in using frontend frameworks like angular, angularJS, jQuery or react.
  
• Expertise in performance profiling, ability to identify performance improvements and memory optimizations
  
• Coding, debugging, and analytical skills
  
• Experience in large scale enterprise application implementation
  
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
  
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
  
• Knowledge of finance (CFO organization)
  
• Software development in Agile environment
