Java Developer I 12 month contract Charlotte, NC (Remote to start) Required Qualifications Education/Degree: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Years of prior equivalent work related experience in lieu of a degree (if applicable): Minimum of 5 years of related business experience.
Years of prior equivalent work related experience in addition to a degree: 1-3 years of related experience.
Job-specific knowledge, skills or abilities: Two years coding/programming, trouble-shooting, problem-solving, logical design, SQL coding, Business Requirements analysis. Position Summary This position will be remote until mid-September then working a hybrid schedule going forward (2 or 3 days in the office) Job Description The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and experience through education or work experience in JAVA development. They should be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communications skills. They must have the aptitude and enthusiasm to work in an agile environment to deliver evolving solutions over time using agile continuous development techniques. The candidate is experienced in Java development. Additionally, knowledge of JavaScript, SQL scripting, Bitbucket version control is desired. This is an entry level position with the candidate working on a team with more experienced developers.
