About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a WxPS Operations M365 Principal Engineer to lead the M365 Operations production application support.In this role, you will:
Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: workexperience, training, military experience, education 7+ years of Senior Engineering experience in Messaging and Collaboration applications, including on-premises and M365 5+ years PowerShell scripting experience 3+ years of experience working for a major corporation with 50,000+ employees 3+ years of experience with migrations from on-premise applications to M365, including support in Hybrid mode
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with some or all of the following: on-premise Exchange (versions 2016 and 2019), Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, M365 Defender, M365 Office, One-Drive, InTune. Knowledge and experience with Azure, certification preferred
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, ITIL Change & Incident Management and Product Model
Experience using Service Now, Jira, Aternity,, Thousand Eyes, SCOM and other Enterprise-level productivity, monitoring, and observability tools
Strong knowledge of Network routing, F5, Proxy
Knowledge of M365 Office, Outlook and Teams client connectivity
Microsoft Certifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Provide cross-team leadership for the M365 Production Operations products.
Act as a technical SME for various Messaging and Collaboration applications (on-premises or M365).
Interact with the various M365 Product and Engineering teams, as well as assist in planning and prioritizing complex changes and major incidents.
Lead Platform Wellness and Observability efforts for the M365 products and make recommendations best solutions to ensure proactive management of the M365 Production space.
Understand and communicate industry and vendor best practices.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours when required
