About the Role

We're seeking a reliable, self-motivated Personal Assistant and House Manager to support a startup CEO across three Charlotte-area properties. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll manage day-to-day tasks ranging from property oversight and vendor coordination to errands and light household duties.

Compensation: $18–$25/hour (commensurate with experience)

Rate is all-inclusive—no mileage tracking or reimbursement reports required.

Properties You'll Support

- Company Office – South End

- Primary Residence – Plaza Midwood

- Investment Property – Sardis Forest/Sardis Woods

Responsibilities

Property & Vendor Management

- Coordinate and oversee vendors including deep cleaners, landscapers, plumbers, electricians, and other service providers

- Schedule routine maintenance and handle minor property issues as they arise

- Light tidying and organization across properties (deep cleaning not required)

Office Support

- Maintain organization and supplies at the South End office

- Receive deliveries and handle basic office upkeep

Household & Personal Support

- Grocery shopping and meal prep

- Laundry and wardrobe organization

- Assemble furniture and handle light home projects

- Run errands throughout the Charlotte area (bank, dry cleaning, returns, etc.)

Pet Care

- Provide light care for a friendly pitbull mix (feeding, letting out, occasional walks)

- Must genuinely love animals

What We're Looking For

- Dependable and trustworthy – You'll have access to multiple properties and handle personal tasks

- Excellent communicator – Comfortable coordinating with vendors and service providers

- Self-starter – Able to manage your own schedule and prioritize tasks independently

- Organized and detail-oriented – Nothing slips through the cracks

- Flexible – Comfortable moving between different types of tasks and locations throughout the week

- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle – This role requires regular driving across Charlotte

- Dog-friendly – Experience with or love for dogs, especially larger breeds

Nice to Have

- Previous experience in property management or household management

- Familiarity with Charlotte neighborhoods

- Basic handyman skills or comfort with light home projects

Schedule

Approximately 15 hours per week to start, with potential to grow. Primary days are Mondays and Thursdays, focused on shopping, household maintenance, meal prep, and light cleaning. Ideal candidate can be responsive to occasional time-sensitive requests.
