About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Architect for Teller & ATM within the Consumer Technology Architecture & Engineering organization.This senior technical Professional is responsible for driving the architecture strategy for secure, scalable, and highly resilient solutionsthat enhance customer experiences at the front line of Wells Fargo banking services.The Principal Architect exhibits leadership to drive a product line architecture vision, translates business demands to product capabilitiesand develops an architecture roadmap that incrementally delivers business value and moves technology platforms towards a target state.This person assesses the application portfolio for opportunities to reduce cost, risk, and complexity; conducts research & analysis onnew and emerging technologies; and conducts data driven buy-vs-build and vendor selection assessments. This role is a key liaison withinternal teams such as product management, engineering, data and platform operations.A successful candidate possesses a mixture of technical and business acumen and demonstrates expertise in user interface platformDesign, resilient design patterns, cloud-native design, data center strategy, data strategy, domain driven design, and moder architecturepatterns and frameworks. User Interface Platform. The ability to inspire and guild teammates and partners toward a common goal willis paramount.In this role, you will:

Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups

Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions

Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization

Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Define and maintain an application rationalization plan for reduced cost, risk and complexity

Define the data center strategy and application deployment patterns for the domains

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

5+ years of experience creating data strategy

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience with core banking SoRs, architecture, and the financial services industry

Experience in Cloud, Data, Domain Driven Design, Architecture Frameworks, Product Thinking, and Agile

Architecture strategy and road mapping, translating strategic architecture to implementation

High communication skills to work with all levels of business and technical teams

Ability to inspire others and influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships and provide mentorship to other architects

Ability to partner with many different platform engineering and architecture teams on architecture that spans multiple areas

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

Pay Range:

California- San Francisco Pay Range: $144,400- $300,000
