To do this, Wells Fargo Technology draws on the talents and motivation of thousands of technology team members across the enterprise.Role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Program Delivery Execution Director. This role reports into the Head of the Consumer Technology Operations within TCOO (Technology for COO). This leader will be a program execution focused leader for Enterprise Operations and some of Wells Fargo's top 10 most critical initiatives reporting to the Operating Committee. This leader must be comfortable and effective in communicating with, challenging, and influencing executives in both technology and the business, as well as third parties which may be critical to delivery. Additionally, this leader must be highly versatile, skilled at creating executive presentations and maintaining organized working documents.Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Drive the execution and delivery of a $700MM Technology portfolio with 100's of initiatives and projects to successful completion with the funded budget
Conduct Monthly Complete Portfolio review including Progress, Issues and Decisions Needed with WF Chief Operating Officer
Ensure timely and actionable updates on the top 10 initiatives reporting to Operating Committee on a Monthly basis.
Lead and manage the core Program Management and delivery team (10-20+ FTEs) in the Office of the CIO (OCIO); ensure a culture of proactive delivery and executing with a sense of urgency
Lead and own a weekly Strategic delivery update to TCOO CIO as well as complete Portfolio review on a monthly basis with key TCOO Technology leaders
Serving as a top subject matter professional to lead complex, innovative, high risk, and diverse initiatives with companywide cross technology impact, or with significant scope, cost, and benefits
Leading the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant challenges across multiple lines of business or the enterprise
Defining, planning, developing, and implementing or consulting on major information technology strategies, processes, or ongoing programs with broad cross technology impact
Providing vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding technology matters to develop programs that are effective, efficient, and which significantly influence the organization's business
Driving business and technology teams to deliver with high quality
Serving as a competent advisor to more experienced leadership across the technology organizations and lines of business
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years of large-scale Program Management and Delivery Experience at a top-five US Banking institution
7+ years of experience in technology
5+ years of strategic planning experience in technology
5+ years of experience within consumer banking technology line of business
Demonstrable leadership experience in a complex technology organization of large scale including senior managers, managers, individual contributors and vendor resources across multiple global locations
Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of technology efforts across several major lines of business and effectively partner/influence at the senior executive and Operating Committee level
Experience in large scale vendor integrations
Strong ability to communicate complex technical, information protection issues and value/impact in simple terms to very senior business and technology leaders
A high level of comfort working with ambiguity or uncertainty and converting information into quantifiable concepts
Proven success implementing large enterprise projects and/or enterprise process improvement
Demonstrable budgeting and forecasting skills
