Description We are seeking a Receptionist in the Machinery Manufacturing industry located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity, where you will be the first point of contact for our company. Your duties will include offering administrative support across the organization, coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.Responsibilities: Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner Maintain and organize professional and user-friendly office filing system Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received Maintain the general office filing system Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to produce correspondence and documents, and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets, and databases Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence Perform data entry tasks with attention to detail. Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Ability to handle a multi-line phone system and efficiently direct calls Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of people Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all visitors Data entry skills required for maintaining and updating company records Experience with email correspondence in a professional setting Ability to organize files in a logical and accessible manner Responsibility for scheduling appointments as needed Familiarity with the machinery manufacturing industry is a plus Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
