Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence plans, specifications, resource needs and goals for multi-faceted, highly complex, or long-term risk mitigation and control strategies on behalf of an enterprise business
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks which require understanding of business-specific knowledge related to a range of risk programs to include but not limited to financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT, systems security, business process management, and applicable business acumen
Provide direction, coaching, and expertise to other Business Accountability Consultants and Specialists on implementing applicable risk program solutions that are scalable and complete
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an advisor on overseeing risk programs
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years working with in risk governance with demonstrated experience and results to learn the business and apply critical thinking skills
Knowledge and understanding of the Wells Fargo Risk Framework and risk governance functions across the Enterprise
Knowledge and understanding of RCSA related to the process map, risk identification, and corresponding controls
Demonstrated effective relationship building skills with senior leaders to understand the business, business risks and risk mitigation functions
Experience leading and implementing risk programs on behalf of the business
Financial services industry experience with an understanding of the financial regulatory environment
Demonstrated attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Experience working with SHRP
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
