While in this role, you will play a critical role in the management of the computer networks of the entirety of the organization. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers while working to plan, implement and oversee the computer networks and infrastructure critical to Citizen’s business operations. Lastly, you will leverage their technical expertise to ensure the stability of Citizens business operations and successful deployment of new branch and office locations. Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope. Lead the design and deployment of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Wireless solutions.

Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies. Install configuration, and maintain network hardware and software.

Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes. Ensure network designs adhere to industry best practices and security standards.

Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity

Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions. Ensure network security measures are in place and up to date, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Create and maintain network architecture and design documentation.

Monitor and manage networks; identify potential entry points or weaknesses; detect intrusions; manage and ensure the functionality of prevention technologies.

Manage highly complex secure connectivity solutions to ensure the integrity of Citizens sensitive financial data and mission critical resources.

Evaluate the adequacy of firewalls, IDS/IPS, various proxy gateway and other network security devices; produce security recommendations when appropriate.

Collaborate with other engineering and IT teams to plan, develop, execute and support infrastructure and network related projects; offer thought leadership in regards to network security and management.

Offer Tier II technical network support; leverage knowledge of network analysis and performance evaluation to provide Tier II technical support; Assist with the resolution of escalating tickets; offer general support to IT service operations.

Audit technical network support tickets; document patterns and trends as they emerge.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional CredentialsRequired Qualifications

5+ years of working experience in network engineering, systems administration or related field; experience managing engineering and technical resources.

Extensive experience with LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi technologies from Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Arista, and VMWare.

Extensive routing and switching experience including TCP/IP and BGP

Experience with network monitoring.

Experience managing engineers or other technical personnel; experience managing infrastructure projects; cross-functional collaboration

Experience with engineering, planning and developing network solutions

Experience with anti-virus, anti-spy and other cyber security assets

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of VMWare ESX and Linux technologies

CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent certifications

Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools.

Working experience in the financial services industry; understanding of the roles of consumer and custodial banks

Experience implementing large-scale infrastructure solutions with a proven track record of success

Microsoft and Cisco coursework and/or certifications

Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, DNS, and DHCP

Experience with network performance monitoring and management tools.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience

CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent certifications

Pay Transparency The salary range for this position is 99,200 - 148,800 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
