We are currently looking for a Service Tech Specialist to join the Honeywell team in Fort Bragg, NC. The main function of this position is to perform troubleshooting, repair, scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on Building automation systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order. Responsibilities · Perform scheduled routine preventive maintenance on Building Automation under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order · Completes maintenance, within assigned labor load PM hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero calls back · Responds to emergency service calls as directed to keep system downtime to minimum · Analyzes, trouble-shoots, repairs and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions/replacements when necessary to improve system · Makes minor to complex repairs to Building systems, I/O equipment, CPU's and software systems · Performs or assists with engineering, planning, scheduling, and installing simple to complex systems or modifications to existing systems · Promotes, builds and maintains good customer relations and assists in contract retention; informs supervisor or customer needs, requirements, systems status, and actual or potential customer problems · Perform Service calls after hours and on –call YOU MUST HAVEHigh School Diploma/GED
2 years experience in Building Automation, DDC, or HVAC Controls industry
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
WE VALUEExperience with Variable Frequency Drives
2 years experience of MS Windows Operating systems and network communication protocol
Technical knowledge Building Automation, Security /or Direct Digital Controls Systems
Familiar with both LON and BACNET protocols, NIAGARA certification.
Working knowledge of low voltage circuitry and logical troubleshooting
Working knowledge of chillers, boilers, primary and secondary pumping systems, air handling equipment, valves, exhaust systems, etc.
Ability to read and write logic connector tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints and various sequences of operation
Troubleshooting experience in database maintenance
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and understand how to get things done with minimal direct supervision
Proven troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Network experience with TCP/IP communications and supervisory devices
Excellent oral, written, phone and Customer-relations skills
Teamwork capabilities/Ability to work collaboratively Adapt well to change, flexibility and resilience
Self-directed Self-Taught/independent learner
Operational planning and execution skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
